Pt. 2 of 3
When Michael returned home, he tried to relax and focus on some upcoming projects, but his mind kept trailing back to the beautiful dancer he met in Atlanta. Sure, he met beautiful women all the time, but something about her made him weak.
From the moment he laid eyes upon her at the club, his heart skipped a few beats. She seemed to be a delicate—yet strong woman that he wanted to get to know more.
Later that night, as Michael tried to get some sleep, he tossed and turned, unable to get comfortable. The air conditioning had been messing up in his main house that week, and the earliest he could get a maintenance specialist out to the ranch was later that afternoon.
After an hour of not being able to fall asleep, he decided to dial Tamika up. He knew it was late but figured she might be awake and just getting home from work.
Taking a deep breath, he picked up the phone and punched in her number. When he heard her voice, he smiled broadly. "Hello, This is Michael. How are you?"
"Oh hey! Um, wow! I can't believe you called me." She smiled as she removed her shoes.
"Are you busy?" He asked out of courtesy.
"No. What's up?"
"I uh... I just wanted to talk for a little while if you're not too tired."
Blushing inwardly, Tamika chuckled and said, "hold on for a sec while I change."
"Ok," he replied sheepishly. "Take your time."
Michael's cock instantly hardened knowing she was getting undressed as they spoke. While he waited for her to return to the phone, he pictured himself showering her with soft kisses all over her body. Shaking the steamy image out of his head, he tried to remain focused when she returned to the phone.
"Ok, I'm back. I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long," she breathed deep after quickly changing out of her dance attire into a T-shirt and shorts.
"Nope, not at all. That was fast." He rattled off and then asked politely, "How was work tonight?"
"Oh, it was OK. I had a few overtly drunk guys that grabbed at me, but I'm a tough girl."
"Are you ok? Did the bouncers step in?"
"Yeah, but it still takes them a minute to get to the stage if it's crowded."
Feeling his heart sink in his chest, he became silent as she continued to speak.
Tamika smiled. "Hey, but I appreciate you for being so sweet to me. I know some guys see exotic dancers as 'playthings' they can have their way with, but we're human too."
Knowing all too well what she was talking about from a celeb perspective, he instantly sympathized with her. "I respect your work, and I believe it's art. No one has the right to disrespect you. You know. It's the same with celebrities. Sometimes people think that they own us, but were human too."
Making herself more comfortable, Tamika laid back in her convertible chair. She could listen to Michael speak for hours. He had one of those soft but richly toned voices that could relax the most frazzled soul.
Michael cleared his throat. "Hey, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what's up?"
"Would you be open to visiting me?"
"Of course, but where?" Tamika replied, contorting her features.
Feeling a bit nervous, Michael closed his eyes and chuckled as he continued forward with his invitation. "Out here in Cali. I'd love if you could visit me here at my ranch for a weekend. I'm on a small break in the tour and would love to see you again."
Though Tamika would love to visit Michael, she also had bills to pay—but on the flip side, she was planning to take a weekend getaway sometime soon. "Um, sure! Why not? But can it be this Saturday? I'm scheduled to work the next few weekends... I do have bills to pay, you know?"
"I know. so I propose that you let me pay for your flight."
"Sorry, but I won't hear of that. I can pay my way. Thanks for the offer, though."
Being taken a bit back by her response, Michael became silent once again as he was used to people taking him up on his kind offers.
"Michael? Are you still there?"
"Yeah yeah... Sorry. I'm just used to people saying yes when I offer them something."
"Well, I don't mean to offend, but I have my own money. It might not be a lot, but I wouldn't feel right with you footing the bill."
"It's all right, Tamika. I respect your decision—but please allow me to take care of you while you're out here."
"Deal!" She beamed. "So I'll book a flight out this weekend."
"Sure! That'll be great." He yawned.
"Sounds good, Michael! I'll see you then. By the way—get some sleep." She laughed.
"Oops. You heard that, huh?"
"Yeah, I did. Have a good night, sweetheart."
"You too, Tamika. I'm looking forward to this weekend. I wish you goodnight as well."
