I'm loving the Biopic Rollout: The Michael Movie, highlighting "HBCUs!"

I'm absolutely loving the #MichaelMovie rollout! They are putting so much thought into all of this! For three days, Lionsgate posted videos of three HBCUs performing Michael's music." I just thought this was something Michael would love for several reasons: the amazing soul, groove, and energy black marching bands bring, Michael's support of UNCF, and this sort of promo happening during Black History month, because our man loved to make a statement!

As many of you all know, in 1986, Michael Jackson donated $1.5 million to the United Negro College Fund to help establish a scholarship endowment in his name. This fund was created to provide financial support to African American students attending one of UNCF's 38 member historically black colleges/universities. For over 20 years, Michael Jackson's long-term investment has helped change the life trajectory of 250+ students at 38 UNCF-member HBCUs.

Check out Jackson State's "Sonic Boom" getting down below. Please check out the performances by Florida A&M and Southern University Marching bands as well via the "Michael Movie" official YouTube channel!
