Omg! Our man is everywhere, and I am living for it! It's so nice to see Michael getting the love he deserves. The Michael movie has shown the masses who the true Michael Jackson is, and that's what many of us hoped for! A film that humanizes him—portraying him as the kind, giving, loving, and talented spirit he was while here on earth and continues to be through his legacy! People have really connected with Michael on a deeper level, and that brings my heart so much joy.
That said, the movie is doing numbers and has earned over 400 million within the past week, making it the second highest-grossing biopic ever! We are also on track to reach that billion worldwide once the movie premieres in Japan and other markets.
In addition to the movie's success with audiences seeing it multiple times, Michael is also the "Top Global Digital Artist!" He is the most-listened-to artist on the planet as of May 2026! Several of Michael's songs and albums have re-entered and risen on the charts, and his 1982 album, Thriller, has re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 7, its highest position since 2022. The album moved about 43,000 equivalent units in a week!
On social media, numerous videos, concerts, and clips of Michael are being shared, and new audiences are discovering Michael’s legendary art! We used to pray for times like this! Yas to "MichaelMania" 2026 and beyond!
If you're like me, you have seen the Michael movie more than once! Lol. How many times have you seen it? In which formats? How many more times do you plan to see it? I'm on my fourth round, and I've seen it in 4DX (twice), IMAX, and Dolby! I'll be seeing it in IMAX two more times this week and in standard formats.
The Michael movie is wonderful, and there's nothing like hearing Michael's music blasting in superb theater sound, bringing people together—that's exactly what Michael wanted his music to do! To unite us through his entertainment, music, and humanitarianism. Like a listener stated during a call-in to a radio show, "Go see the Michael movie, your heart will be better for it."
