Hello all,
I just wanted to chime in and say thanks to all those who have been reading "Playa El Estero." Yes, this has been a long story, lol. Almost three years now of my writing and updating—and soon (but not too soon, tho), it will be complete. Due to my just being busy and life changes, it's taken me quite some time to update this story. However, I did try to stick to a schedule of 3 weeks, which, yes, turned into 4 to 5 at times pending life circumstances. But still, my intentions were to make this island slow-burn, romantic MJ Fanfic fantasy as detailed as possible, and with that, the writing of the story took more time.
That being said, the final updates to this story will be a little later than usual since once I get down to the final three chapters of a book, I'm writing it in real time, and it takes me longer to update. With every long-form story I write, I usually have about 15-20 chapters pre-written, thus making my updates more on time, with the exception of editing because that takes time! But now, I'm writing the last chapter of this book and an epilogue to follow. So, hopefully, I'll have chapter 35 posted within 3-4 weeks and the epilogue a couple of weeks after. Sadly, I've come down with some sort of cold (update: I have Covid), and that has slowed me down, but I also needed to get up from lying down, so here I am writing this blog, but I digress. I can't pen down exact dates, but Michael and Makeda's story will most definitely be complete before April (or at least that's my goal). And though I love writing these characters (seriously, they are my boo-boos), it's time to see them on their way in the land of Michael Jackson Fan Fiction. So, once I complete this story, I will take a little writing break and get back to work on the story: "Coco Mademoiselle: In Those Jeans." I'm so excited for this story! Though it's a short story, it's still juicy and not too short! However, it's not a full novel. So, once again, I thank you all so much for continuing to read my stories!
P.S. Please sign up for updates on my blog! I often send out updates through the blog in which you will be alerted. However, whenever I write a new story, I will send a mass email out to every member. I try not to do that often because I know how I am when companies email me! Lol! However, there are some updates I gotta push through to everyone concerning my stories and the site overall. I'm also looking forward to writing more Michael Jackson and personal (things that pique my interest) blogs in the future!
